Dear John,

I called you John, remember this was the name given you by Mrs. Ruiz (formerly Miss Leda of Journalism class, first year) to distinguish you from Jun Ariola?

I still have fond memories of you and can vividly recall majority of our encounters and talks about many topics such as Voltes V (how that during "volting in", Mark's, Big Bert's, & Little John's respective aircrafts were presumably entering hollow internal compartments inside the huge robot, only to wonder how that after completing the process of volting in that those seemingly hollow internal passages were suddenly filled in with lots of ammunition, hard metal parts which were not there a while back)?

We also talked about Superman 1 (the movie), which you said was up to part 10 (do you remember that you said it inside the cinema, and some of us believed & expected it?).  Also who can forget that you brought in our class your home-made cartoon (but with full-featured moving parts) version of Voltes V which you handcrafted out of scratch materials? Who can forget your sweet singing voice, when you sang "Ang Disyembre Ko ay Malungkot" during our Journalism Christmas Party under Miss Ledda.  Even my sister Edna couldn't help but burst in admiration after hearing that.

We all saw that you'll have a very bright future ahead of us, you are a genious, jolly, caring, & warm, and some said you're cute.  Thank you so much for being you.

I hope we can still hang around and let everybody feel our touch and love first for GOD and for our classmates. God bless you, John, and I know GOD has so many wonderful plans for you and your family.  Regards to your sister who also attended school at Carlos Garcia.  I still remember her face.  What's her name again?

Sincerely yours,
Paul L. Fuentes

Hi Paul,

It's nice to hear from you again and thanks for remembering all the "vivid" memories we had back in high school. Believe it or not, I still have the home-made Voltes V and I have a cabinet full of Voltes V mementos. I am now collecting anything that is associated with Voltes V.  I don't know kung bakit until now I am still fond of the said anime.

God bless you too Paul, and thanks for praying for all our classmates.

Regards,

Junn
